On December 11th and 12th, 2024 the workshop for doctoral students Tierra y usos de la tierra: convergencias entre la historia rural y la historia ambiental de la tierra will take place at the Leibnizhaus – Hannover. The aim of the workshop is to discuss the current work of PhD students, who approach the history of land uses in the Iberian empires from environmental, rural, and legal histories.
The event results from a cooperation among IberLAND, the École de Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales and Linnaeus Universiy. Professors José Miguel Lana Berasáin (Universidad Pública de Navarra), Karine Lefebvre (Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México) and Diogo Cabral (Trinity College Dublin) will attend the workshop as speakers and discussants.
