On January 11 and 12, 2024, the IberLAND project will hold its workshop: Todo lo que está por romperse: Jornadas para el estudio de tierras incultas, baldíos, montes, vacantes y otras formas de uso y apropiación del espacio en el mundo ibérico (XVI-XIX), organized by Alina Rodríguez Sánchez.

The IberLAND team, invited speakers, and collaborators will gather at the Leibnizhaus (Hannover) to discuss the different ways of owning land in relation to uses and types of landscape, the cultural representations of ’emptiness’ and uncultivated spaces, and other topics related to land ‘not yet broken’.

The workshop is open to external participants with prior registration, as explained in the the program below.
