Researchers of the IberLAND project, Manuel Bastias Saavedra, Camilla de Freitas Macedo and Sarah Limão Papa, organized a Special Issue in the journal Direito Público (Brazil), on “Land and Property: the Public and the Private in the Brazilian Legal Experience from the Colonial Period to the Republic”, looking at questions of ownership beyond the private/public dichotomy. The special issue examines these questions through nine articles that range from methodological to theoretical contributions, as well as legal historical and doctrinal approaches.
